SEAL BEACH, CA — After years of roadblocks, residents gathered for The Beach House’s grand opening Monday.

The much-anticipated restaurant is located right on the shores of Seal Beach, where River’s End Café used to operate. The restaurant announced the grand opening on its Facebook page.

The opening comes after local realtor Rosie Ritchie and former O’Malley’s Pub owner Brian Kyle signed the lease for The Beach House in 2018, after River’s End Café shut its doors, the Orange County Register reported. The restaurant was initially scheduled to open in August.
