Boutique Thrift Store To Open In RSM, Sales Benefiting South OC

Nonprofit organization South County Outreach is opening a new Upscale Resale Boutique thrift store in Rancho Santa Margarita, and here’s what you need to know about the March 23 grand opening.

According to Carrie Freitas, a South County Outreach representative, the second Upscale Resale Boutique thrift store was created after the original thrift store in Laguna Hills received an incredible amount of support from the South OC community.

“Due to the high volume and quality of donations, along with the ongoing success of our original store in Laguna Hills, South County Outreach decided to open our Upscale Resale Boutique to feature more of the high-end, luxury items we receive,” Freitas told Patch. “Our new location in the RSM area also allows South County Outreach to expand its footprint in South OC and be an active member of the community.”

Residents who shop at the Upscale Resale Boutique thrift store after its Thursday, March 23 opening will help support South County Outreach’s mission to prevent hunger and homelessness in the community.

According to Freitas, money raised in the thrift store will go directly toward helping support the number of services that South County Outreach offers residents in need, such as a client-choice food pantry, rental and utilities assistance, financial literacy and more.

Residents who want to do more than shop can also apply to volunteer their time and service to the thrift store. South County Outreach is also seeking a dedicated team of volunteers to help run the store and other South County Outreach operations.

The new Upscale Resale Boutique thrift store opens Thursday, March 23 at 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The thrift store is located at 21612 Plano Trabuco, Ste. K.
