NEWPORT BEACH, CA — A new restaurant is coming to Newport Beach for the new year, and residents can get a taste of JOEY Newport Beach starting Jan. 19 once the eatery opens its doors in Fashion Island, the restaurant group announced this week.

The newest location marks the restaurant group’s fourth in California, joining downtown Los Angeles, Manhattan Beach and Woodland Hills.

The expansive menu features an array of globally-inspired dishes that range from Ravioli Bianco and hand-made hummus to a superb sushi program, including a flame-seared salmon sushi.

“As a chef I’ve always been inspired by the high-quality fresh produce available at your fingertips in the great state of California” Matthew Stowe, Executive Director of Culinary, JOEY Restaurant Group, said in a news release. “The JOEY menu has immensely evolved since we first came to California to open JOEY Woodland Hills in 2015, and it has been an exciting challenge to enhance and develop new dishes that continue to celebrate our globally inspired cuisine, while staying true to the restaurant’s roots.”

The new location will feature a full interior, a massive outdoor patio and a large-scale outdoor fire pit for guests to lounge around.
