ORANGE COUNTY, CA — After a warm Christmas and a wet start to the week, here’s a look into how much rain fell in Orange County over the last three days.
The information was gathered by Orange County Public Works. The department pulls rainfall statistics from 57 sites countywide, according to OC Public Works’ website.
The most rain was reported in the county’s foothills.

- Silverado Motorway and Holy Jim Canyon received .67 inches of rain.
- Upper Harding Canyon and Upper Silverado Canyon received .63 inches of rain.
- Laguna Canyon Repeater and El Cariso Guard Station received .59 inches of rain.
- Santiago Creek received .57 inches of rain.
In Lake Forest, residents experienced between about .39 inches of rain.
Mission Viejo and Laguna Hills residents saw .47 inches of rain, officials said. On the coast, Laguna Beach residents received between .55 and .59 inches of rain. In Newport Beach and Corona Del Mar, residents saw .47 inches of rain, according to OC Public Works.

Dana Point residents experienced about .51 inches of rain, and Seal Beach residents experienced about .47 inches of rain.
